Dave Younge joined TAB because he needed input from others outside the organization to add prospective and ideas. The business was becoming mature and lacked vision on where to go next. With the help of Art Miller, our facilitator, and other TAB board members, I got feedback on my fuzzy ideas of where we should go. This allowed us to get a clear vision. The next step was to redefine our mission, now that our vision was clear and somewhat different. Again, through review with my business team and the TAB team, a new more workable mission was developed. The mission statement led us to next develop a culture statement. This benefited from the TAB group feedback as well. Not only did my TAB group help me develop these three statements they made them much more meaningful than we could have ever developed on our own.
